Innovate, Improve, Innovate Again

Sustainability isn’t just Green, at TASKI, it’s Orange

Sustainability isn’t just one thing, it’s a whole collection of processes, approaches and behaviours that create sustainable outcomes.

The way we design products, manage waste, run our manufacturing, organise facilities, engage supply chain partners and the technology we put into ULTIMATE machines, are just some of the ways TASKI pursues sustainability.

Sustainable Machine Design

A sustainable machine uses minimal resources to be manufactured, minimises resource use during its operational life and its parts and materials can be repurposed and recycled at the end of its serviceable life.

99% of our machine parts can be disassembled and 95% of our machine materials can be recycled.

Fully compliant with RoHs

Top three materials used in machines:

• 45% Plastic
• 33% Steel and Aluminium
• 16% Electronics

A TASKI machine always has value for recycling companies.

TASKI machines are RoHS compliant (the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive).

All machines have a material overview available and are WEEE standard compliant.

Product Design

Energy-efficient components, efficient motors, brushless motors, lithium batteries and shorter charging cycles are advanced ways in which we build sustainability into our product design.

Repairability

Whether it’s predictive maintenance with IntelliPredict or our marked parts economy, TASKI machines are designed so that repairs and maintenance keep machines going as long as possible, avoiding premature obsolescence and reducing the need for virgin materials.

We also have 5-year spare parts continuity, even after the production of a particular model has ended.

Sustainable and Responsible Manufacturing

Our TASKI facility in Switzerland runs on a mix of hydro and solar power to keep the machine production running, and the LED lights on, in a sustainable way.

Our integrated material recycling processes also contribute to making the facility a green beacon.

Manufacturing

It isn’t just what we make, but how we make it. Our production methods and facilities have an integral part to play in the creation of sustainable machines.

Our manufacturing facility runs on climate friendly wood chip heating which has replaced 100% fossil fuel use and throughout we have integrated LED lighting.

The Sustainable TASKI Technologies

Outstanding machine performance through the combination of energy-efficient components that utilise the latest TASKI technologies to save water, energy and chemical resources

IntelliFlow – Integrated into machines for water savings of up to 76% and water flow improvement of 40%

IntelliDose – Patented technology that reduces chemical resource use by 75% and reducing carbon footprint by 25-30%

IntelliTrail – Monitor the performance of machines, to optimise power, chemical and water usage, creating significant sustainability savings

IntelliScrub – Adjustable brush pressure that utilises energy efficiently and extends the life of brush parts

Lithium Batteries – 400% Longer Battery Life | 40% more Autonomy from Power Sources | 300% Faster Charging | Lower weight and less CO2

IntelliPower – More cleaning on a single charge, manage energy use for efficient recharging and optimal performance

Whisper Motor – Lower energy consumption for comparable performance means a dip in energy use but the same high standard of clean

Digital Motors – Varispeed brushless motors that have longer lives, need less resources and maintenance and deliver up to 50% energy reduction

Life-Cycle Analysis

In order to fully understand our carbon footprint, and where we can take action to lower it, we perform lifecycle assessments (from cradle to grave) according to international standard ISO 14067:2018 for our machines.

ISO 14067 specifies the principles, requirements and guidelines for the quantification and reporting of the carbon footprint of a product (PCF) and is consistent with life cycle assessment (LCA) Standards (ISO 14040 and ISO 14044).

Our Committed Sustainable Team

Our employees are constantly committing to innovation and improving TASKI efforts to become more sustainable. We want to do more to ensure we’re ahead of the curve when it comes to protecting and preserving our precious planet!
